A glimpse into some of the projects I have worked on.

The Future Leaders Bootcamp project has a carefully designed curriculum to ensure that participants gain vital skills required to champion innovative solutions that are locally relevant and culturally appropriate. This project ignites an interest in technology driven leadership and encourage participants to continue to learn (lifelong learning) and to adopt sustainable approaches to real problem solving and lifestyle.
Through the ATLAS Initiative and The AOK Children Initiative, the Back to School Project helps children return to school by providing essential school kits and identifying dropouts for re enrollment. We also train teachers and school management on effective ways to support students. Additionally, we assess school infrastructure needs—such as repairing dilapidated buildings, fixing leaking roofs, and providing textbooks or library resources—then raise funds to address these challenges.
This was a capacity building program for student leaders across tertiary institutions in Lagos state on leadership qualities, engaging their university community and carrying out sensitization programs in relation to speaking up on issues of sexual and gender based violence in tertiary institutions.
Christmas with a Smile is a project that started in the year 2018 and was formerly tagged “Christmas in the Slum” but changed the name in the year 2019. It is a yearly charitable event that seeks to address extreme poverty in underserved communities through social action. Christmas with a Smile focuses on mobilising the support of social actors, companies, philanthropic individuals and volunteers to address the following social challenges: Period poverty, Child poverty, Food poverty and Health disparities.
Through the project, we have been able to reach over 5,000 people within Lagos in the communities of Monkey Village in Ikeja, Agala community in Takwabay, Ilaje in Bariga, Iyafin in Badagry, Correctional Centres for both Boys and Girls in Idi-araba and Yaba respectively.
The project seeks to support children from poor and marginalized backgrounds to develop competencies that would enable them to contribute meaningfully to the economic, social and environmental needs of their communities.
